General & Compliance Funds

How Does It Work

1. Must be a full time homeowner to submit.
2. Submit a signed application for review.
3. Helping Hands will verify the need for funds (confidential).
4. Funds are not required to be repaid.
5. Applicant agrees to allow committee members to verify all work completed.
6. Before payments are received (if applicable) homeowners must obtain exterior
modification approval from ELS and/or County Building Code Office.

How Do I Submit My Form

Completed forms may be deposited/dropped
off in any Helping Hands blue drop-box in Colony Cove.
A Helping Hands member will contact you directly.

General Fund

General funds can be used for emergency repair or replacement of items such as:                               

         1. Hot water heaters

        2. Plumbing Repairs

       3. AC Unit Repairs

       4. Electrical Issues

   5. Roof Repairs

        6. Flooring Repairs

         7. Handicap Ramps

8. Grab Bars

   9. and more...

Compliance Fund

Funds can be used for correcting or
preventing compliance exterior infractions such as:

        1. Power washing

2. Weeding

   3. Small Jobs
